Smita Mitra

Smita is a seasoned professional with three decades of diverse industry experience in leadership roles at country, regional, and global levels. He has managed teams across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and America in complex businesses. His last corporate assignment was as Global HR head for Container Refrigeration business for Carrier Corporation. He has extensive experience on talent and leadership, culture, transformation and M&A across across Coca-Cola, United Technologies and Carrier. He is extensively used frameworks and tools like Performance Coaching, Development Centres, Hogan, DISC, MBTI and Leadership Inclusion frameworks, to drive behaviour change and awareness.

Specializing in leadership and transformation with a focus on culture and people, Subhajit currently works as a consultant, focusing on coaching, leadership advisory, transformation projects, and building 'future-ready’ talent. He often uses sports as an analogy for life skills to drive change, firmly believing that organizational success is a team sport. Subhajit customizes content to meet individual needs at all levels, from students to senior leaders. He is passionate about guiding individuals through early career choices, mid-management transitions, and leadership challenges, advocating for experiential learning. Drawing on his experience of living in multiple countries and managing multicultural teams, Subhajit partners with solutions rooted deeply on business and individual growth mindset. 

Subhajit has coached start ups in their infancy stage, he actively mentors students from institutes of higher learning, and is also a founding member of National HRD network, Singapore chapter.

Smita Mitra

SMITA MITRA is a seasoned expert with over two decades of experience dedicated to women, peace, security, and preventing crimes against children. She provides specialized consultation and advisory services to governments, public policy institutions, organizations, industry partners, and law enforcement agencies.
With a Master's in Social Work, specializing in Criminology and Correctional Administration, SMITA has made significant contributions since 2002. At the United Nations (2010-2015/19), she focused on empowering women migrant workers in South Asia and advocated for gender-sensitive training on Conflict Related Sexual Violence in partnership with UN-DPKO for the National Peacekeeping Training Centre (CUNPK). Her efforts with the International Association for Peacekeeping Training Centre’s (IAPTC) led to an increase in women military officers from UN Troop Contributing Countries across security sector institutions. Her rich cross-cultural experience enabled her to deliver programs on Gender and Disarmament in Santo Domingo, in partnership with UNODA and UN Women. She also supported the United Nations in evaluating programs on labor migration and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAW/G).

More recently, SMITA served as INTERPOL’s global intelligence specialist on online Crimes-Against-Children in Singapore (2020-2025). She led country-level threat assessments and conducted Victim Identification Task Force (VIDTF) operations in partnership with UN agencies, across Asia Pacific, LATAM and Europe, and rescuing hundreds of victims. At INTERPOL, she played a key role in investigations and intelligence sharing on child sexual exploitation. She was instrumental in training law enforcement stakeholders in Japan, Bangladesh, India, Singapore, Philippines Korea and partnered with EUROPOL for Victim Identification.

Currently, SMITA focuses on gender mainstreaming, advocating inclusion, promoting peace and security, and preventing online crimes against children. She has conducted lectures at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (NUS) in Singapore and supported interventions with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation for the Asian Women Parliament Caucus. She has also been a lead trainer with the Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operations Training (BIPSOT) and provided advisory support to tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Meta, and TikTok on trust and safety programs.

Beyond her professional achievements, SMITA is passionate about culture, heritage, and museums. She is a trained docent with the National Heritage Board in Singapore and proudly wears her ‘Friends of Museum’ badge.
