Smita Mitra is the founder and Managing Director of LifeFutureSkills (LFS). As an emerging women entrepreneur, Smita focuses on public policy and law enforcement, partnering with global experts to deliver domain-specific solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges of our times. LFS believes in forging extensive collaboration with academia, industry, and the technology sector, driving international development with the aim of fostering sustainable societal progress and equipping leaders with future-ready life skills.
Smita’s journey as a development sector professional began more than two decades ago with diverse assignments across multiple segments of United Nations and more recently with INTERPOL intelligence specialist on online Crimes-Against-Children.

Smita is a graduate in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) specialising in Criminology and Correctional Administration. She is also trained on health systems strengthening and Young People’s Health and Development program from Lund University, Sweden.
